Built as "Kunstsalon Louis Bock & Sohn" at the beginning of the 20th century, its fame rapidly spread far beyond the gates of Hamburg. The renowned art dealership with its skylit rooms enjoyed a close relationship with the Hamburger Kunsthalle until the 1950s.

In a move to ensure the preservation of part of the tradition for the people of Hamburg and visitors to the city, a spectacular architectural coup saw the disassembly, removal and storage of the original facade. This facade, with all its richness of tradition, was reintegrated into the design of the new, ultramodern interior.

The retail areas are distributed over the ground floor, basement and first floor, all of which are connected with each other internally by means of a staircase and exclusive customer lift.

Added to that are some 15,900 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art office space on four light-flooded storeys. Office space to the tune of 3980 sq. ft. is available on each floor and can be divided to suit.
